The asterisk means it is a required choice, you must choose one. We haven't received any feedback about the sizing being 'off', so assume it's standard women's sizing for this item.

I haven't purchased this yet - there's a small red asterisk by the size area: "women's*" like that. Does anyone know what that means? I'm hesitant to purchase because it looks so roomy - does anyone have this shirt or know the sizing of it? The artsy print is lovely, but I'm afraid it will hang too loose and not be so lovely on me.
